Bvkv Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is based at Ram Machal’s place in the village of Badgo, near Tadiya Bazar. We are a small group of farmers who decided that working together was better than trying to do everything on our own. Ram Machal’s house is where we meet to discuss the season and what we need to buy. Most of us spend our entire day in the fields around Badgo, so we don't have much time for office work. Tadiya Bazar is where we go to see what the prices are like and to get our supplies, but the real work happens right here on our farms. We grow what the land allows, and we don't pretend to be anything other than what we are. There are no corporate slogans here, just the sound of tractors and the smell of the earth after it rains. We share our tools and our knowledge because that’s how things have always been done in the village, only now we have a name for our group. It’s not always easy, especially when the pests come or the market prices drop, but we stick together. We are just local men and women trying to do a good job with the crops and make enough to keep our homes going. Badgo is a quiet place, and we are just a small part of it, working hard every day.
