Shree Chaitanya Vidya Mandir

Shree Chaitanya Vidya Mandir is located in Arvind Nagar, which is part of the 22nd Ward in Hosapete. It’s a fairly busy part of town, so there is always some noise from the street outside. The school is a modest building that fits right in with the houses around it. We’ve been operating here for years, serving the families who live in this ward and the nearby areas of Hospet. Inside, the classrooms are functional with benches and blackboards. We don’t have a lot of extra space, so we have to be organized about how we use the rooms. Every morning, the children arrive with their bags and water bottles, and the day starts with a short assembly. The teachers here are local folks who know the parents well. We spend a lot of time on the basic lessons, making sure everyone is keeping up with the work. The office is just a small corner where we keep the files and answer the phone when it rings. During the breaks, the kids find space in the corridors or the small courtyard to talk and eat their lunch. It’s a very down-to-earth kind of place. We don’t have a big budget for decorations, so we just keep the place clean and functional. It’s a school run by local people for local kids. We are just glad to be a part of the daily life in this neighborhood.
