We run Hampi Sericulture Farmers Producer Company Limited from the old Sericulture Office Building. It's located in Sondu Kudligi, which is part of the Bellary district. Most of us here are local people who know the silk business inside out. It isn't a modern glass building; it’s a functional space that’s seen a lot of activity over the years. We work directly with the farmers in the Bellary area. Dealing with silk worms and cocoons takes a lot of patience. There’s no shortcut for it. Our days are filled with meetings at the office and visits to nearby farms. The 583135 area has a long history with this kind of work, and we’re just carrying that on. It gets pretty hot out here in Bellary, but we’re used to it. The company was set up to help organize things better for the group. We aren’t looking to be some huge corporation. We just want to make sure the work gets done right for everyone involved. You’ll find us at the Sericulture Office Building most mornings. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but it’s where the heart of the operation is. We handle the paperwork and the logistics of getting the silk produce ready for market. It’s a simple, local setup. We don't spend money on fancy marketing stuff. We just focus on the farmers and the silk and the day-to-day grind of the agricultural cycle in Bellary.
