Shubham Flexible Packaging Machines Pvt. Ltd. is situated at B-8A, Sector 59, Part Ii. The building is surrounded by other manufacturing units, so the sound of metal being worked on is pretty constant. We spend our time putting together packaging machines, which means there are always tools scattered across the workbenches. You might see a wrench here or a pile of bolts there. It is not a place for someone who minds getting a bit of grease on their clothes. We have a few big assembly areas where the machines slowly take shape over a few weeks. The staff usually wears rugged clothes because the work is physical. Sector 59 can get quite congested during the morning rush, so most of us try to get in early. We have a small area where we keep the blueprints and the technical drawings, but most of the knowledge is just in the heads of the guys who have been doing this for a decade. It’s a very hands-on environment. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we're ordering parts or checking emails. Mostly, we are on our feet, checking alignments and testing motors. It is a simple, hardworking atmosphere where the main goal is just to finish the machine on the floor and move on to the next one.
