We are based out of Balasore, specifically over at the Balasore Kachery area. If you know the place, we are set up with Kamal Lochan Pradhan. Power Planners Engineers Pvt Ltd is basically a small team of us doing engineering work. We spend a lot of time on site or looking at plans here in Orissa. It’s not a huge operation with a lobby and a receptionist. It’s more of a working office where papers get stacked and phones ring throughout the afternoon. We focus on the planning side of power projects. Sometimes that means a lot of math and sometimes it means just making sure the ground work is actually happening. Balasore is home for us. We know the streets around the Kachery well. It’s a busy spot, especially during the day. We don't spend much on advertising because word gets around in a town like this. People know where to find us if they have a project that needs some technical oversight. We deal with the local requirements and try to make things work within the budget people have. It’s practical work. No one here is trying to be a corporate giant. We just want to get the engineering right so the systems don't fail later on. It’s steady work and we take it as it comes, day by day. We have our routine and we stick to it because that is what gets the projects finished for the folks around here.
