Juniour Engineer

Down here in At/Po Jhinkiria, life moves a bit differently than it does in the big cities. We are situated near Haladipada in the Balasore district, and this is where we do all our work. Being a small engineering setup in this part of Odisha means you have to be ready for anything. Some days we are fixing things that broke down unexpectedly, and other days we are planning out small projects for people in the nearby villages. It is not the kind of place where people wear ties. We get our hands dirty and we spend a lot of time talking to the folks who live around here. The road to get to us is familiar to everyone in the area. We’ve been here long enough that people just know to come by when they have a technical issue. It can be quiet sometimes, especially in the afternoons when the sun is really hot, but there is always something to tinker with. We have some basic tools and a lot of practical experience that we’ve picked up over the years. We aren’t trying to be some giant corporation. We are just local people providing a service that’s needed right here. It’s a simple life, and the work is honest. We take things one day at a time and try to make sure we don't let anyone down who comes through our door.
