Siddhi Binayak Bricks

We’ve been making bricks here in Bairasar for a while now. Our place is right near the Shiv Temple, just across from Santosh Welding if you're looking for us. It’s a busy spot in Tehsil Puintala. We basically spend our days working with clay and fire to get these bricks ready for local building projects around District Balangir. It’s dusty work and the weather doesn’t always help, especially when the rains come. Most of the guys here are from the village, so we all know each other well. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just the kiln, the stacks of finished bricks, and the trucks coming in and out. People stop by when they need a load for a house or a wall. We try to keep things moving so nobody is waiting too long for their order. Sometimes the timing is a bit off because of how the baking goes, but that's just how brick making is. We stay focused on the work right here on the ground. It’s a simple setup, really. If you pass the temple, you’ll see the smoke or the piles. We aren't doing anything complicated, just making sure there are enough bricks for whoever is building nearby. It’s what we do every day, starting early before it gets too hot. We’ve seen a lot of houses go up using what we make right here in the village. It feels okay knowing we’re part of the local landscape and that our work is actually being used to build real homes.
