Rk Bricks

Our brick operation is set up in Block Losing, right near the BSNL tower. It’s a pretty easy landmark to spot if you’re looking for us. We’ve been making bricks here for a while, and it’s been a steady way of life. It’s mostly outdoor work, so we’re at the mercy of the weather most of the time. When it’s sunny, we’re busy molding and drying, and when it rains, we take a bit of a break to maintain the equipment. We don’t have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers. It’s just us working the soil and the kiln to get the bricks ready for whoever needs them. Most of our customers are from the surrounding area, people who are building their own homes or small shops. We don’t do any fancy marketing; usually, people just see our stacks of bricks near the tower and stop in. The yard is usually quite dusty, and we’re often covered in red dirt by lunchtime. It’s not an easy job, but there's a certain pride in seeing a finished stack of good bricks. We try to keep our prices reasonable so our neighbors can afford to build what they need. It’s a simple business, based on hard work and just being there when someone needs materials. We’ve been in Block Losing long enough to see a lot of changes, but we just keep doing what we do.
