St. Marys English Medium School

Our school is situated right by the Assumption Catholic Church in Ward No 19 over in Sindhi Colony. We are a part of the Balaghat community. It’s a familiar area for most people living nearby. We teach in English here, and the kids spend their days working through their workbooks. The school is right next to the church, so it’s a quiet and decent spot for a school. We have a lot of students from the surrounding colony coming in every morning. The teachers have their hands full with all the different grades we manage. It’s not a big, modern campus with lots of glass and steel. It is just a practical building with classrooms that have seen a lot of students over the years. We focus on the basics and try to make sure the kids behave themselves. During the holidays, the place gets very quiet, which is a big change from the usual noise of the playground. Parents often stop by the gate to have a quick word with us about how their children are doing. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the lessons are taught properly every day. It’s a simple life here in Balaghat and we are glad to be a part of it. The morning bell rings at the same time every day and we just get to work.
