Dhalpal Ganga Farmers Producer Companylimited is based out in Uttar Chhat Jaygir Chilakhana. It is quite a long name for a place, but that is where we are. Dhalpal 2nd Part is a quiet area and most of us here are used to the slow pace of the village life. We started this company to work together as farmers in this part of Chhat Jaygir Chilakhana. Most mornings start early before the sun gets too high in the sky. We have our small office space where we keep all the records and talk about the crops. It is not some big glass building like you see in the cities. It is just a regular place where we can sit down and figure out what needs to be done for the season. Some days are harder than others, especially when the weather does not go our way, but we keep at it. The roads around here can be a bit dusty in the winter, and very muddy when the monsoon hits. But this is home for us and our families. We try hard to keep our stuff organized and help each other out with the farming work. It is a lot of talking and planning over tea. We don't have any fancy titles or suits, just our regular clothes and a lot of work to do in the fields. It’s just a group of us from the neighborhood trying to make things work out.
