Yashcomputeracademy

Yashcomputeracademy is located in Ghorath, right near the Max Power Gym. If you can find the gym, you can find us. We started this because we noticed people in the area wanted to learn how to use computers better but didn't want to travel too far. We have a few rows of desks with old and new monitors. It’s a simple setup. We teach basic stuff like typing, using office programs, and some of the newer things people ask for. The room can get a bit loud when all the students are talking at once, but it’s a good kind of noise. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just put a sign out and let people come in. Our instructors are just local guys who know their way around a PC. Sometimes the power goes out, which is a bit of a pain, but we just wait it out or talk about the theory until it comes back. We aren't trying to be a fancy university. We just want people to feel comfortable sitting in front of a keyboard. It’s nice to see someone who was nervous at first finally get the hang of it. We keep our hours flexible so people can come after work or school. The gym next door is always busy, so there’s usually a bit of life on the street outside. We just stay focused on the lessons and keep the machines running as well as we can for the students.
