Aetom Technology

We are way out in Vill Kumhwat, near the Po Laharpar area in Azamgarh district. It’s not where you’d expect to find a technology company, but that’s where we are. Being in Uttar Pradesh, in a more rural spot, means things move a bit differently here. We don’t have the tall buildings or the fast-paced city life. Our office is just a plain building in the village. Aetom Technology is basically a group of us working on computers in a quiet setting. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or use the generator. It’s not like those big IT parks in Bangalore or Noida. We know everyone in the village, and they know what we do, even if they don't quite understand the tech part. We walk to work or take a small bike. It’s peaceful for the most part. We handle our projects without any big corporate pressure. We don’t have a HR department or a canteen. We just bring our lunch from home and eat together. It’s a very grounded way to work. We’ve been here in Azamgarh for a while and we like the pace. It’s just a simple room with some screens and a lot of cables. We do our best with what we have and keep the work moving. It’s just us in the village, doing our thing while the world outside goes on its way.
