If you head down to the MIDC area in Chikalthana, you’ll find us at G/58. This is the industrial heart of the region, and Raman Thermosets has been part of it for a while. Working with thermosets isn't exactly a clean or quiet job. The plant is usually hot, and there is a constant drone from the machinery that you just get used to after a week. We focus on getting the molding and the chemical mixes right. It’s technical work, but we talk about it in very plain terms. The floors are concrete and usually have some scuff marks from moving heavy barrels around. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby; you just walk in and find someone in the back. Most of our guys have been living around Chikalthana for years, so we all know each other well. The MIDC zone can be a bit grim with all the grey buildings, but it's where the real work happens. We eat lunch together near the loading dock when the weather is okay. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people find us because they need specific thermoset parts and they heard we were the ones at G/58 who could do it. It’s honest, heavy work that keeps us busy from Monday through Saturday. We just keep our heads down and produce what's needed.
