Janaushadi Medicine

Janaushadi Medicine is our small place in Vaijapur. It isn't a very big town, so word gets around fast. We set up shop here because the area needed a steady place to get supplies. Most of the time it is just one or two of us behind the counter. The walls are painted a plain white and the floor is tile that we have to mop every single morning because of the dirt people track in from the road. We keep the shelves packed tight. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is asking for, but we usually have it somewhere in the back. Vaijapur weather gets really hot in the summer, so we keep the door open to get a breeze, even if it brings in the noise from the street. We aren't doing anything fancy here. We just open up, check the inventory, and wait for the people to stop by. Sometimes the delivery van shows up late and we have to reorganize everything in a hurry. It's a lot of manual work, lifting crates and marking prices on things. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just this one room where we do everything. People know where to find us if they need something. We try to keep things organized as best as we can, even if the ledger gets a bit messy sometimes. It is a simple life but it keeps us busy every day.
