Kube Watches

I’ve been at Kube Watches for a while now, located at Plot No. 47/2 in Samarth Nagar. It’s an interesting spot because we are tucked right behind the Kali Masjid. If you’re standing in front of the Mona Lisa Beauty Parlor, you can pretty much see our place just across the way. It’s a busy little stretch of the street, especially in the evenings when the parlor is full and people are heading to the masjid for prayers. I spend most of my time at the workbench or looking out the window at the people passing by. The shop isn't anything fancy, just some glass cases and a few chairs for when customers want to sit down and take a look at something. Sometimes the noise from the street gets a bit loud, especially with the scooters zipping around Samarth Nagar, but I don’t mind it much anymore. It feels like being part of the neighborhood. The beauty parlor across from us always has people coming and going, which makes for good people-watching during the slow hours. I try to keep the front of the shop clean, but with the wind blowing through the lane, it’s a losing battle with the dust. We don’t have a big corporate sign, just a basic one so people know where we are. It’s a small, practical space where I get my work done and talk to whoever stops in for a bit. I usually keep a bottle of water under the counter because it gets dry in here.
