Ajay Industries

Ajay Industries is situated over at C-55 in the MIDC area of Waluj. We are quite close to the big Bajaj Auto plant, which is the main landmark around here. If you are in Waluj, you know the area is full of factories and workshops. Ours is a practical space designed for industrial work. It’s not a place for showing off. We’ve got machines, tools, and a lot of metal around. The noise of the nearby plants is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We start our shifts early when the air is still a bit cool. Most of the day is spent handling orders and making sure the production is on track. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially with the machines running. We have a small office area where we keep the records, but mostly we are out on the floor. The yard outside gets dusty when the trucks go by. It’s a hardworking part of town. We know most of the guys in the neighboring units. We share some tea and talk about the business. It’s a straightforward way of life. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just do the work we’ve always done. It’s what we know. The rhythm of the factory is just how our days go. It's noisy and dusty but it's where we work.
