Our setup for Jsmed Pharmaceuticals Llp is out in Village Balia. We are located at the house of Kapildev Pandey and Mahesh Pandey in the Tola-Balia area. Being in the Kutumba block of Aurangabad, Bihar, things move at a much different pace than they do in the big cities. The roads are not always the best, especially when the rains come, but we manage to keep things moving. This is a very local operation and most people in the village know us or the Pandey family. It is quiet here for the most part, except for the usual sounds of a rural panchayat area. We deal with medicine distribution and the logistics that go along with it from this small base. It is a lot of hard work because we are a bit far from the main supply hubs, but we have our routine down. The office isn't anything big or shiny, just a practical space where we can keep our records and coordinate our daily tasks. Most of us have lived in this area our whole lives, so we understand how things work around here. We don't have fancy corporate meetings, just talk across the table to get the job done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait it out or find another way to stay productive until it comes back. It’s just how it goes in the village.
