Hotel Shailesh Bar & Restaurant

The bar opens up around noon and that is when the first few people start trickling in. Most of them are just looking for a cold drink to hide from the Maharashtra sun. The building has been here in Aurangabad for a while and you can tell by looking at the walls. We keep things pretty straightforward here at Shailesh. There are no fancy lights or themed nights. It’s just a place to grab a drink and some snacks after a long shift at work. Some of our staff have been working here since they were young, so they know exactly how the regulars like their drinks. The kitchen is small but it gets the job done, mostly serving things that go well with a bottle of beer. Sometimes the music is a bit too loud or the fans make a clicking noise, but nobody seems to mind much. We aren't trying to be a five-star lounge. It's just a neighborhood bar where you can relax without feeling like you have to dress up. The street outside is always busy with people going to the head office or running errands. We see all kinds of people coming through these doors. Some stay for hours talking about their day, while others just want a quick bite before heading home. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s honest work and we like the people who visit us. We just keep the doors open and the drinks cold.
