Our place is located near Daultabad Lake on the Ellora Road. It is a quiet spot, especially compared to the busy streets of the city. Being out here in Daulatabad means we get a lot of people who are visiting the fort or heading over to see the caves at Ellora. The resort is right by the water, so there is usually a bit of a breeze. It’s not one of those five-star places with golden door handles. We’re more of a local spot where people can stay when they want to be close to the history of this area. The rooms are simple and we try to keep the garden looking decent, though the sun can be pretty harsh on the plants. You might see some of us out there watering the grass in the mornings. Daulatabad is a special place with a lot of old stories, and we like being part of that landscape. Guests usually come back tired after climbing the fort, and they just want a quiet place to sit down. We don't have a big corporate office; the front desk is where everything happens. We handle the bookings, the kitchen, and the cleaning with just a small group of local staff. It’s a peaceful way to work, watching the light change over the lake throughout the day. We just try to provide a decent place to rest.
