Global English School

We are located on Harshly Road in the Hudco area of Aurangabad. It’s a residential neighborhood, so we have a lot of houses all around us. The school is a simple building, nothing too tall, with a gate that we keep locked once the classes start. Inside, the walls are painted in bright colors to make it look a bit more cheerful for the children. We have regular classrooms with blackboards and small desks that we have to straighten up every single morning. It gets quite hot in this part of Maharashtra, so we rely a lot on the ceiling fans and keeping the windows open for a breeze. You can hear the kids reciting their lessons from the street sometimes. We don’t have a massive sports field, but there is a bit of space in the front where they can play during their break time. The staff room is always a bit cluttered with notebooks and tea cups. Most of the families who send their children here live just a few streets away, so it’s a very local atmosphere. We have meetings with the parents in the main hall, and it usually gets pretty crowded. We try to keep things running on time, but sometimes things happen and we have to adjust. It’s just a neighborhood school where the focus is on getting the kids to learn their English and finish their homework. We spend our weekends tidying up and getting ready for Monday.
