Desktop Services

Our place, Desktop Services, is located at N-9, A-116, H-3/1 along Mgm Road. We’re right in the T.V. Centre area of Shrikrishna Nagar, which is part of Hudco. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but most locals know the neighborhood well enough. The shop is full of old computer towers, loose cables, and monitors that we use for testing. It’s definitely not a showroom. We spend a lot of our time hunched over motherboards or trying to recover data that someone thought was gone forever. The air in here usually smells a bit like solder and dust. We get all sorts of people walking in, from students living nearby to older folks who aren't quite sure why their mouse stopped clicking. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know our way around a hard drive. Mgm Road can get busy during the school run, so it’s sometimes a bit noisy, but we just put our heads down and work. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or scripted greetings. If you come in, we’ll just talk to you like a neighbor. The shelves are mostly filled with spare parts we’ve collected over the years because you never know when an old power supply might come in handy. It’s a functional, messy, and busy little spot where we just try to solve whatever tech problem walks through the door.
