Our place is in the Co-Operative Industrial Estate, specifically at G-7, A-42 in the MIDC Area. Being near the railway station means there is always a lot of noise and movement around us. We work with heavy coatings and industrial paints. It is a gritty environment with big metal drums and the smell of chemicals in the air. We don’t wear suits here; we wear overalls that are usually stained with various colors. The floor is concrete and there are forklifts moving stuff back and forth all day. It gets quite loud with the machines running and the trains passing by nearby. We’ve been in this industrial pocket for a while now. Most of our work is for other factories and businesses that need tough finishes for their parts. It’s not the kind of place you’d visit for fun, but it’s where real work happens. We have a small office space for the paperwork, but most of us are out on the floor. The heat in the MIDC Area can be intense during the summer months, making the paint dry faster than we sometimes want. We just keep the fans going and stay busy. It’s an honest industrial job. We aren't trying to be something we’re not. We just provide the coatings that people need for their equipment and move on to the next batch. The trains keep whistling and we just keep on painting.
