Our office for Rdl Infotech is out in Village Lalganj which is part of the Asansol North area in West Bengal. It is a quiet place compared to the main city. To get here you have to travel past the main Burdwan district roads until you reach the Lalganj post office. We have been set up here for some time now handling various computer and tech tasks that come our way. The building is simple and we don't have any big signs outside. Inside it is mostly just desks with monitors and a lot of cables running along the walls. During the monsoon the rain hits the roof so loud we can hardly hear each other talk. We get people from the village coming in with all sorts of questions about their devices or internet. Sometimes the connection is slow because we are a bit far out but we make it work. We usually start our day around nine and stay until the work is finished. There is a small tea stall nearby where we go for breaks in the afternoon. Living and working in a place like Lalganj means you know everyone who walks through the door. We don't have a corporate structure or anything like that.
