Green Bells Public School

Our school is located in Shahdol. It is a place where we have been working for quite a while now. The building is a familiar sight for people living in this part of town. We have a set of classrooms that look out onto a central area. Every morning, the bell rings and the students line up for their prayers. It is a sound that everyone in the neighborhood knows. We have students of different ages, from the little ones to the older kids who are getting ready for their board exams. The classrooms are simple, with fans and desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. We have a small library where the kids can go to read when they have a free period. The teachers are mostly people who have lived in Shahdol their whole lives. We do not do anything flashy here. We just follow the textbooks and make sure the kids are doing their homework. During the rainy season, the playground gets a bit muddy, so we keep the kids inside or on the veranda. It is a very local, straightforward school. We know most of the parents by name because it is a small town. We just keep the routine going day after day without any fuss. The school office is usually open until five if anyone needs to stop by. It is just how we do things here in our community.
