Laxmi Enterprise

Laxmi Enterprise is located in the GIDC Industrial Area at Shop No L-4810. We are right beside the Center Excise Office, which makes it easy for people to find us. Nilam Enterprise is also just nearby. The area is full of trucks and people moving crates. Our shop is mostly filled with inventory that we keep on metal racks. The racks are getting a bit rusty, but they hold the weight okay. We have a small counter where we handle the paperwork. It’s usually covered in dust because of all the construction going on in GIDC. We use an old calculator that has some buttons missing, so you have to press hard on the seven. Most days are spent waiting for deliveries or checking the stock levels. It’s not very exciting. We have a small stove in the back to make tea. The milkman comes by around ten every morning. Sometimes we just sit and watch the trucks go by the excise office. It’s a lot of waiting and then a sudden rush of work when a big order comes in. We don’t have any big advertisements. Most people just know we are here. The floor needs a good scrubbing, but we never seem to get around to it. We close the shop when the sun goes down and the street lights come on. The neighbors sometimes stop by to borrow a wrench or some packing tape.
