Gruh Udhyog

We operate out of Jhanor Village in the Bharuch Taluka. It is a small place in the Bharuch District and everyone knows everyone else here. Our business is a small-scale setup where we make things by hand mostly. It is a simple building without much to look at from the outside. Inside it is usually quite busy with people working on different tasks. We don't use big industrial machines for everything. We like doing things the way they have been done in this village for a long time. It feels more natural that way. The village is peaceful but the work keeps us moving from early morning. We have a few rooms dedicated to the production and a small area for packing. The smells change depending on what we are making that day. Sometimes it’s spices and other times it is something else. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. People just know us because we have been in Jhanor for years. The road to the village can be a bit bumpy in the monsoon season. That makes it hard for the transport but we always find a way to get the goods out. It’s a local operation and we have been part of the community for as long as I can remember. We aren't looking to grow into a massive company. We just want to keep the work steady and provide for our families. It’s a good way to live and work.
