Shree Ram Marble

You can find us at Plot No. 91 and 92 right in the Timber Market, just across from the Bob bank. It is a big yard filled with different types of marble slabs. Most of the day is spent moving heavy stones around with the crane or the forklift. The air usually has a bit of white dust in it from when we are cutting or polishing the edges for someone. It is a lot of heavy lifting and we have to be careful not to chip the corners of the bigger pieces. People from the neighborhood often stop by to look at the different patterns in the stone. We keep the slabs standing up against the walls so they are easy to see. The Timber Market is a loud place with trucks coming and going all the time. Being right opposite the bank makes it easy for people to find us. We don’t have a big sales team or anything like that. Usually, it’s just one of us walking around with a tape measure and a piece of chalk to mark the dimensions. The sun can be tough when you are out in the yard all day but we are used to it. We just keep the water cooler filled and keep working through the piles of stone. There is always a lot to do before we close up for the night and go home.
