We are located at Plot No. 6011 in the G.I.D.C. Estate, and it’s a fairly busy place to be. The work here is mostly about remedies and chemical setups, so there’s a lot of glass and stainless steel everywhere you look. It’s a bit cleaner than some of the other plots because of what we handle, but it’s still an industrial site. We have to wear these specific uniforms and hairnets most of the time, which can get a bit annoying in the summer heat. The office side of things is usually quiet, just people typing away or answering the phone. We’ve been at this plot for a while, and we know all the neighbors. Sometimes the rain gets quite heavy and we have to watch the entrance for leaks, but we keep everything inside dry. We have a regular schedule that we try to stick to, though unexpected things always seem to pop up right when we’re about to go home. The loading dock is at the back, and it’s always a squeeze to get the bigger lorries in there. We don’t have a lot of decorative stuff around, just the equipment we need and the desks for the paperwork. It’s a place where we just come to work, do our bit, and go home. No fuss, just the usual daily grind. We like it that way because everyone knows what they are supposed to do.
