Kohinoor Colours Pvt. Ltd.

We are based at Plot No. 5107. The company is called Kohinoor Colours Pvt. Ltd., but to most people around here, we’re just the ones doing the dye work on this block. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular industrial unit with a lot of activity inside. We’ve got mixers and tanks that run most of the day. It gets pretty humid inside during the monsoon, but we keep things moving regardless. There are about fifteen of us working here now. Some have been here since the start, and some are newer. We spend a lot of time checking the shade of the batches. It’s more of a feeling than a science sometimes, even with the equipment we have. The floors usually have some stains on them, but that's what happens when you work with pigments all day long. We don't really do any big advertising. Most people who need us already know where Plot 5107 is. We handle the shipping ourselves mostly, getting the bags ready for the trucks that come in the evening. It can be a long day when a big order is due, but we usually sit outside for a bit during the break to get some air. It’s a decent place to work, and we all get along well enough. Nothing fancy, just making colors and shipping them out to customers.
