Vasudev Krupa Farmer Producer Companylimited is based right in Anjangaon Surji, specifically at Takarkheda Naka near Saint Mary School. If you know the area, you know it’s a lively spot with kids running around and people heading to the market. We chose this place because it’s easy for everyone to reach. We are a collection of farmers who decided that we’d had enough of the middlemen taking the biggest slice of the pie. We grow all sorts of things in this part of the country, and the work is never really finished. Most of us have been in the dirt since we were kids, so we know what we are doing, even if we aren’t great at the office stuff. The company is our way of standing together. Sometimes we meet up and just drink tea and complain about the weather, but usually, we are busy figuring out how to get our crops to the next town. We don't have a big staff or anyone in a suit. It’s just us. The building is simple, nothing to look at twice, but it’s where we keep the records for our members. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. If someone has a problem with their harvest, they come by the Naka and we talk it out. It’s just how things are done here in Anjangaon Surji. No frills, just farming and trying to stay ahead of the bills.
