Regional S.N.(Junior) College

Out in Dhenkikote, Keonjhar, you will find Regional S.N.(Junior) College. It is a simple setup for students who have finished their high school and need those two years of junior college before they move on to a university or start working. Being in a place like Keonjhar, we see a lot of students coming in from the smaller villages nearby. Our building is nothing special to look at, just a practical structure that keeps the rain out and gives the students a place to sit and learn. We try to keep our fees at a level that local families can actually manage. There aren't any high-tech gadgets or fancy labs here. We have the basic subjects and our teachers do their best to explain the lessons in a way that makes sense. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just open the windows and keep talking. Dhenkikote is a quiet place, and the college is a big part of the daily life for many families here. We spend our mornings checking the attendance and making sure the classrooms are ready. It is a bit of a trek for some of the kids to get here, so we appreciate that they show up every day. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. People know us because their friends or cousins came here before them. We just provide a space for learning and try to help the youth of Keonjhar figure out their next steps in life.
