Jindal Steel & Power Ltd

We are based out here in Angul, right in the heart of Orissa where the weather is usually pretty warm. It’s a busy spot at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd and there is always something going on with the trucks coming in and out. Most of us have been working here for a long time now so we know the routine like the back of our hands. It isn’t some fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. Instead, it’s a practical place where we deal with steel and power stuff every single day. You can hear the sounds of the machinery humming in the background if you stand still for a second. The dust gets on everything but that’s just how it is when you’re working in this kind of industry. We don’t spend much time worrying about how things look as long as the work is moving forward. Some days are longer than others, especially when there’s a lot of metal to move or a problem with one of the lines. We just grab some tea, talk about what needs fixing, and get back to it. It’s a local operation and we know the people around here pretty well. Being in Angul means being part of the landscape, and we’ve seen a lot of changes over the years. We keep our heads down and try to stay productive because that’s the way we’ve always done things here.
