Our office is at H.No. 89 in Milan Villa, located in the Simlipada area of Angul. This is the heart of the operations for Bhushan Steel Ltd. Orissa. Angul is a major hub for industry, so there is always something happening. Living and working out of a place like Milan Villa makes it feel a bit more personal, like we are part of the neighborhood rather than just a big company. We spend our days managing the local requirements for the steel business. It’s a lot of logbooks, phone calls, and dealing with local suppliers. The humidity in Orissa can be quite something, especially in the summer, but we are used to it by now. We have a small, dedicated staff. We don’t really do any marketing or big promotions; we just do the work that comes across our desks. If there’s a problem with a shipment or a document, we just sit down and figure it out. It’s a very practical way to spend the day. We know the people around Simlipada and they know us. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just want to make sure the steel business runs smoothly from our end. It’s a steady job and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We’re just regular people trying to do a good job. We keep things simple and just focus on the task at hand without overcomplicating things for anyone else. It is just what we do here at Milan Villa.
