Breng Vegetable Producer Company Limited

Our group is based in Nagam, which is part of the Kokernag area. We usually meet up at Javid Ahmad Zarger’s place to figure out the business side of our vegetable farming. It’s a small operation run by people who actually grow the food. We don't spend much time in an office because there’s always something to do in the fields. The soil here is good, but you have to work it right to get a decent crop. We started this company because it was getting hard for single farmers to deal with all the rules and the buyers. By coming together as Breng Vegetable Producer Company Limited, we can share the costs and the work. It’s not a polished business with a lot of staff. It’s just us. Some of us are younger, some are older, but we all know the land around here. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate, and we lose some of the crop, but that’s just how it goes in farming. We just keep moving forward. We aren't looking for awards or anything like that. We just want to make sure the vegetables we grow actually reach the people who need them. It’s a practical way to manage things in our village. We’re just a bunch of growers from Nagam trying to make things a little bit easier for everyone involved, focusing on the work rather than the paperwork.
