Sv Cement Bricks

Our place, Sv Cement Bricks, is located at 102 on that unnamed road in Konakondla. It is a bit of a funny spot because the road doesn't have a proper name on the map, but if you ask anyone around here, they can point you the right way. We have a small yard where we mix the cement and set the bricks out to dry in the sun. It gets incredibly hot here in the afternoons, so we usually try to get most of the heavy work done in the early morning hours when it's still a bit cool. You will see rows and rows of grey cement bricks sitting out on the flat ground. There is a lot of dust from the cement bags, and the noise of the mixer is pretty constant throughout the day. We have a couple of guys who help with the stacking, and we usually have lunch together under the shade of a big tree near the back. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a local yard where things move at their own pace. Sometimes a truck comes by to pick up a load, and other times it is just quiet with nothing but the sound of the wind. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the gate and the sign. The road can be a bit bumpy so you have to drive slow when you come to visit us. It’s a simple life out here.
