Mahendra Bricks

Down in Ramachandranagar, you’ll find us at Mahendra Bricks. We are specifically located at 3-2-156 in Mg Colony. It is a simple place where we spend our days making bricks from the local earth. There is always a layer of red dust on everything, including our clothes. We don't mind it much because that's just the nature of the work. Making bricks takes a lot of patience. You have to wait for them to dry properly before they go into the kiln. We have a few guys who have been with us for a long time. They know the rhythm of the yard. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the bricks we put out are solid enough for whatever people are building. Usually, it's houses or small walls around the area. We see a lot of tractors coming and going throughout the day. The sun can be quite harsh out here, so we try to do the heavy lifting in the mornings. It’s quiet in the evenings once the fires are settled. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people knowing where we are. If you need some bricks, you just come down to Mg Colony and look for the stacks. That’s us. We stay busy enough just managing the clay and the fires, which is plenty for our small crew to handle.
