Aarav Engineering

Aarav Engineering is situated at Plot Number 64 in the GIDC area over in Rangaipura. This is part of Petlad in the Anand district. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s where all the industrial stuff happens. Our shop is just a standard GIDC plot with a tin roof and a concrete floor. When it rains, it gets incredibly loud inside, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We do mostly small-scale engineering work, whatever people in the district need. We have a few lathes and some other old machines that have seen better days but still run fine. The yard outside is usually cluttered with scrap metal and old crates. We try to keep things organized, but it’s a struggle when you’re busy. Usually, we eat our lunch together under the shade of a tree just outside the gate. It’s a quiet enough area during the day, except for the noise from our neighbors. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything, we just rely on the work we do. If someone needs a part fixed or a bit of metal cut, they come to see us. It’s a straightforward life. We open the shutters in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. There isn’t much more to it than that.
