Design Cell

Design Cell is based at 8, Old Shop Blocks in the Mota Bazar area of Vallabh. We are directly opposite the Chandan Book Stall which is a handy landmark for anyone trying to find us for the first time. Mota Bazar is a lively place with people coming and going for their shopping all through the day. Our shop is part of the old block so it has a bit of character to it even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We spend our time here working on various designs and sketches. It is not a corporate studio with glass walls or modern furniture. We just have a few sturdy tables and our computers set up where the light is best. Sometimes we go across the street to the book stall to see what is new or just to stretch our legs. Being in Vallabh means we are right in the middle of the local community. We don't put on any acts or try to sound like we are bigger than we are. It is just a small group of us who enjoy the process of creating things. The door is usually open to let in a bit of a breeze unless it is too dusty outside. We don't have a big marketing budget. People just know us from being in the bazaar for so long. It is a simple life and we like the work we do. We keep our supplies in the back room and stay organized.
