We've been at this spot near Laxmi Cinema for quite a while now. Subhas Road gets pretty busy during the day, so there's always something going on outside our door. Jay Jalaram Trading Co. is just a regular place where we handle the daily buying and selling of goods. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a shop with stacks of stuff and people coming in to check what’s in stock. Most days it’s just us keeping track of the inventory and making sure things get where they need to go. If you know where the cinema is, you know where we are. It’s easy to find once you’re in the neighborhood. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or websites because the work keeps us busy enough. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we do. People around here know us by name, and we know them. That’s just how it is on this side of town. Sometimes the traffic on Subhas Road makes deliveries a bit of a headache, but we manage. We aren’t trying to change the world or anything, just doing our job and making sure the orders are right. Usually, there's a bit of dust from the road, but that's part of being in the middle of everything. We just open up in the morning, do the trading, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s straightforward work. No big corporate meetings here, just us and the items we trade every single day.
