B.L.Phatak & Co is based out of Pune, specifically over in the Anand Nagar area. You can find us at A-12 Suryanagari on Suncity Road, care of Ganesh Bartakke. It is a bit of a residential spot, which makes for a quieter working environment compared to the city center. We spend our days tucked away here, working through financial audits and tax filings. Pune is a growing city, and there’s always someone needing help with their books. Whether it's a small startup or a family-run business on Singhgad Road, we take a look at their numbers and try to sort things out. Accounting isn't always simple; there are always new rules coming out from the government that we have to keep up with. We spend a lot of time reading and checking our work to avoid mistakes. Our office is functional and full of books and ledgers. We don't have any fancy bells or whistles here. It’s just us and our computers. People usually call ahead before coming by with their documents. We sit down, have a coffee or tea, and talk about what needs to be filed. It’s a very hands-on process. We try to keep things as simple as possible for our clients because financial talk can get confusing really fast. We’ve been part of the Pune business community for a while, just doing our part to keep the records straight for whoever needs it.
