It's just us here at Indrajeet Ranchhodray & Co. We have been on Rly Station Road for quite a while now. You can find us right near the L.I.C Office, which most people around here know. It gets pretty busy on this street because of the trains and people heading to work. We just show up every morning and get things done. It's a small place, nothing fancy. We deal with the usual day-to-day work that comes through the door. Sometimes the noise from the station is a bit much but you get used to it. We keep our files organized as much as we can. My father started things out and now we just keep it going. There isn't much to say really. We open at the same time every day and stay until the work is finished. People stop by when they need something specific. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name on the door. It is a practical way to run a business. We see the same faces often and that is nice. If you are walking down from the station, we are just a short walk away. The weather gets hot in the afternoons but the office stays relatively cool. We drink a lot of tea while we work. That’s just how it is here. Nothing more, nothing less. We just focus on what is right in front of us and try to get through the list of tasks for the day. There is an old ceiling fan that clicks sometimes, but it keeps the air moving.
