Erravai Farmer Producer Company Limited is a group of us from around Narsayyapet village. We are located at D.No.3-23, right there with Vikasa. Chodavaram Mandal is where we all live and work, so it made sense to set up something here. Farming is hard work, and doing it alone is even harder. We decided to pool our things together so we could have a bit more say in what happens with our crops. It wasn't an easy start, and we spent many nights just sitting around talking about how to manage the paperwork. The village is small, so everyone knows everyone else’s business anyway. We keep the office simple because we’d rather be out in the fields than sitting behind a computer. Erravai Farmer Producer Company Limited isn't some big corporation; it’s just a bunch of neighbors trying to get a fair deal for our harvest. Sometimes we meet under the big tree near the village entrance when the office gets too hot. People stop by to complain about the rain or the lack of it. We listen and see what can be done. It’s just how things go in Narsayyapet. Life moves at its own pace here. We don’t have any fancy signs, just the address on the door at D.No.3-23. It’s enough for folks to find us when they need to talk about the next planting season or how to get their goods to the market.
