The building is a simple structure that we’ve tried to maintain over the years. We have basic classrooms for the inter-college levels. It’s a place where everyone knows everyone else. The teachers are mostly locals who have been here for a long time. We don't have high-tech gadgets or a big library, but we have enough for the kids to learn what they need for their exams. During the harvest season, things can get a bit thin because some students have to help out at home, but we manage. The playground is just a patch of dirt where the boys play cricket in the afternoons. It’s an honest, simple school for the children in this part of Amroha. We don't put on any airs; we just provide a place for the village kids to get an education close to home. It’s a humble spot but it serves its purpose. We start the day with a small assembly under the large trees in the courtyard. The air is always fresh here. We just keep things moving year after year.
