Hasanpur Krishak Vikas Producer Company Limited

Hasanpur Krishak Vikas is over in District Amroha, specifically at Telipura Khalsapatal. We work out of Data Ram Sharma’s place. It’s a producer company, which means it’s really about the farmers around here coming together. Amroha is a place where everyone knows someone who owns a field. We aren't based in a tall glass building; we are right there where the crops are. Most of our days are spent talking to neighbors about seeds, water, and what the prices are looking like this season. It’s a bit of a slow process sometimes because everything depends on the sun and the rain. We sit in the shade and go through the books, trying to keep track of what everyone needs. There’s no corporate ladder here, just a bunch of us trying to make the farming life a little bit more stable for everyone involved. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing and we have to sit down and figure it out together over some snacks. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just want to see the local harvest turn out well so people can take care of their families. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. It feels right to be right here in the village where the actual work is happening every single day.
