Amroha Kisan Honey & Agri Fed Producer Company Limited is based out of Amroha, specifically at Sh. Chandan Singh’s place. We are a small group and we spend a lot of our time dealing with honey and various other agricultural things that come our way throughout the year. It’s a quiet enough setup, though things get pretty hectic when the harvest is ready or when we’re processing the honey. The air around here often has that sweet smell to it, which is one of the better parts of the job. We aren't a big corporation with fancy titles. Most of us have been farming this land for years and we just decided that working together under one name made more sense. We use a lot of old equipment that we fix up ourselves when it breaks down, which happens more often than we’d like. The office is really just a room where we keep the ledgers and have our tea breaks. Sometimes the logistics of getting our goods to the bigger markets can be a real headache because the local transport isn't always reliable. We don't have any scripted speeches or professional photos to show off. We just show up every morning, see what needs doing, and get on with it. It’s a lot of physical work and the hours are long, but we’re used to it. Amroha is home, and we’re just trying to keep the farming tradition going for the people who live here.
