Cmrr Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in the village of Nizampur Sandari, over in the Amroha area, which used to be called Jyotiba Phule Nagar. Raju Singh is the one who helps manage things at his place. We didn't want to be just another small farm struggling on its own, so we decided to pool our efforts. Most of the people here grow things like sugarcane or wheat, and it is a lot of labor for very little return if you aren't careful. By forming this company, we can talk to the wholesalers with a bit more weight behind us. We don't have any corporate training. Most of what we know comes from years of working the dirt and watching the markets. Our office is just a place to store some records and have a cup of tea while we plan the next transport. It’s often loud and busy when the trucks are being loaded. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. If there is a problem with the crop, we talk about it openly. Raju keeps everyone on track with the schedules. It is a tight-knit community, and this company is just an extension of how we have always lived, only now it is official. We don't have any big goals other than making sure we can keep farming for another year and maybe buy some better equipment for the group to share later on.
