We are based out in Jindiyal, situated right near the Amritsar Engineering College. If you are driving on National Highway No. 1, you can't really miss the turn-off for our place. Being so close to the highway means there is always a lot of dust and the sound of heavy engines passing by at all hours. We see a lot of students from the college walking around too, which keeps the area feeling a bit more lively. Our work is pretty repetitive, mostly loading up vehicles and checking the inventory lists over and over again. The winters here in Punjab get quite cold, so we usually have a small heater going in the main office area. In the summer, it is the opposite, and we just try to find some shade whenever we can. The building is a big, functional structure that does exactly what we need it to do. We don't have any fancy signage or polished lobbies. It is a workplace, plain and simple. We have a small crew, and everyone knows what their job is. We don't talk much about goals or plans; we just look at what needs to be shipped out today and get to it. Sometimes the highway traffic makes things take longer than they should, but that is just life on the road. We stay busy and try to keep things moving as best as we can every single day.
