Food Founders

Shop No. 3a on Lawrence Road is where you will find us. We’ve been at Food Founders for some time now, right near Ritu Wear. Amritsar is a busy city, and this street is always moving. We open up early to get things sorted before the shoppers arrive. It is a small space, but we make it work. Most of our day goes into prep work and talking to the people who walk in. Sometimes it is quiet and we just sit by the door, and other times it is a total rush. We don’t use any big machines or fancy tech, just the usual stuff you’d find in any local kitchen. The heat in the summer gets tough, but the fans keep us going. Lawrence Road has a lot of history, and being part of it feels okay. We know the other shop owners around here, and we often share a tea in the afternoon. It is not a glamorous job, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. We try to keep the place tidy, though the dust from the road makes it a constant battle. People come in for a quick bite or just to see what we have that day. There is no big secret to what we do. We just show up, cook, and go home. We don't have a website or a marketing plan. We just have this one shop in Amritsar where we spend our days.
