V K Computer

V K Computer is located right near the Gandhi Gate and the Golden Temple area. It’s a very famous part of the city, so there are always tons of people walking around outside our door. The shop itself is pretty small, just enough room for a couple of desks and some shelves for computer parts. It gets quite loud with the tourists and the traffic nearby, but inside we just focus on the work. I mostly handle computer repairs and sometimes sell small accessories like mouse pads or USB drives. The walls are a bit bare, and the paint is peeling a little in the corner, but it doesn't affect how the computers run. I usually have a few machines pulled apart on the table at any given time. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get a delivery of new monitors. Being so close to the Golden Temple means we see all sorts of people. Some just stop in to ask for directions, and that's fine too. I’ve been here for a while now, and I know most of the other shopkeepers on this stretch. We all sort of look out for each other. It’s a busy life, but it’s good to be in such a central spot near the Gandhi Gate. We just keep things simple, do the repairs, and go home when the day is done. It's a very straightforward business, really. We open up the shop every morning and wait for the first customer to come in with a broken screen.
