Sunrise Computer

Sunrise Computer is over in Dam Ganj. It’s a bit of a trek from the main center, but people find us anyway. The shop is usually full of wires, keyboard parts, and old monitors stacked in the corner. It’s a bit messy, I’ll admit, but I know where everything is. I started out fixing my own things and then people started asking for help. Now, I spend all day looking at screens and opening up computer cases. Dam Ganj is a regular neighborhood, so it’s mostly locals who come in. They bring their laptops when they get too slow or if they spilled something on them. It’s a lot of work to figure out what’s wrong sometimes. I have to stay up late some nights when a job is hard. The fans in the computers make a constant humming sound in the shop, so it’s never really quiet. I have a small desk with a soldering iron and a bunch of different cables. Sometimes the power goes out and I have to just sit and wait. My brother helps out occasionally when things get really busy. We don’t have any big advertisements. People just tell their friends about us if we do a good job. It’s a practical business. Computers are always breaking, so there is always something for me to do here in Dam Ganj. I like the challenge of fixing a dead machine and seeing it turn on.
